Meghan Markle gave a somewhat surprising four-word response to King Charles' thoughtful wedding day gesture, according to a new book on the royal family.

The former actress married her true love Prince Harry in 2014 in a televised wedding at Windsor.

Despite the glitz and glamour of the day, and the star-studded guest list, there had been some tensions in the lead up to the wedding due to Meghan's dad Thomas Markle.
