Meghan Markle has postponed the next episode of her debut podcast, Archetypes, as she prepares for the Queen's funeral. Just weeks after her ground-breaking interview with The Cut, the Duchess of Sussex has also ditched plans for a high-profile TV appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, according to sources.
Meghan has also cancelled a scheduled visit to the UN General Assembly in Manhattan with Prince Harry as the Sussexes remain in the UK during a period of national mourning. The string of cancellations follow Meghan's emotional visit to Windsor Castle with her husband Prince Harry and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The surprise reunion saw the 'Fab Four' come together to greet mourning crowds and observe the sea of tributes for the late Queen, who passed away at Balmoral on Thursday afternoon.
It was the first time the Sussexes were publicly pictured alongside the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales since Commonwealth Day on March 9, 2020, just weeks before the country went into Covid lockdown.
Meghan had agreed to appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, September 20, but these plans have since been abandoned amidst funeral preparations.
"Meghan was due on Fallon," a source told Page Six. "I don’t even know what she was going to talk about, but that’s obviously cancelled [sic] now.”
The publication is also reporting that Meghan's next podcast episode - due to drop on Spotify on Tuesday - is set to be pushed back.
The Duchess of Sussex's podcast dropped on August 23 and has been released every Tuesday since then, with the last one released on September 6.
Meghan has yet to confirm when the next episode will run, leaving the podcast's schedule up in the air.
The California-based Sussexes were visiting Europe by coincidence when the news broke that the Queen was unwell on Thursday.
They both travelled back to England from Germany where they were on a visit, but Prince Harry then flew to Balmoral alone that afternoon.
Their spokesperson earlier indicated they would be going to Scotland together after cancelling an appearance at the WellChild Awards ceremony in London, but those plans changed as Harry raced to visit the Queen without Meghan.
The Princess of Wales also remained in Windsor to look after her children when Prince William travelled to Scotland on Thursday afternoon.
On Friday evening, the new King made his first address to the nation as the sovereign, where he shared a heartfelt message to the Sussexes.
The visibly tearful King said he wished to "express his love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas".
