Meghan Markle's father has made an emotional public plea on American TV to his daughter as he begs to fix their relationship.
Thomas Markle and Meghan's siblings, Samantha and Thomas Jr., took to Channel 7 News to speak of some of their 'treasured memories, home truths and secret tapes' of the Duchess just days before the King's Coronation.
In a bombshell teaser trailer, Samantha savagely claims that without their dad, Meghan 'would still be a waitress' and her brother chimes in saying: "We're not going to go away. This is going to change everything," the Mirror reports.
Meanwhile, Thomas took a very different tone to his ruthless children and issued a "deathbed plea" to "the daughter he lost". He desperately questioned: "How can I fix this?"
The 78-year-old's plea comes after Thomas confessed he was 'lucky to be alive' following a stroke last year. At the time, a source told The Mirror that Meghan was worried about her father's health despite being estranged from her family.
The source claimed: "Despite their estrangement, Meghan is concerned. She wants to know if there is any way to contact her father privately, without other family knowing about it or having to get involved."
Thomas's request comes after it emerged that Meghan would be skipping King Charles' Coronation on May 6, leaving Harry to face his family alone. Instead the Duchess has chosen to remain at their family home in California while she looks after their children Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet.
Meghan recently made a public appearance during her close friend's Ted Talk for the first time since it was revealed she wouldn't be attending the historical event next week.
She appeared via video link in a pre-recorded message to introduce photographer Misan Harriman ahead of his recent Ted Talk and spoke of the "many meaningful milestones" he captured for her family.
In the clip, she was seen smiling while she said: "Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph. I’ve experienced his talent firsthand as he’s captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family, and I know there are many others who share in this experience".
Viewers were shocked to see Meghan's new glowing 'Montecito makeover' as award-winning makeup artist and owner of Trigwell Cosmetics, Zoe Trigwell said the Duchess has 'upped her glam' while stepping away from Royal duties.
She explained: "Meghan has definitely upped her glam feeling as she has stepped outside of Royal Duties," she explained to us.
"It feels overall that she has started to really move into her own look with dewy skin and a more natural/copper eye base. Alongside this, she has paired her new look with a down-do hairstyle over her usual low bun."
