Meghan Markle wore an eye-catching ring which once belonged to Princess Diana for an awards ceremony in New York.
The Duchess of Sussex donned a large aquamarine ring from her late mother-in-law's collection as she took centre stage at last night's The Ripple of Hope gala.
The 41-year-old previously sported the piece of jewellery for her wedding reception in May 2018 at Frogmore Cottage and later that October during a tour in Tonga.
It was commissioned by Diana from Asprey in the 1990s and is thought to be worth around $90,000 (£74,000).
The People's Princess - who was killed in a car crash in 1997 when Harry was just 12 - wore the ring for a trip to Australia in 1996 and at an Aid Crisis Trust reception at Christies the following year.
It's not the first time Meghan has adorned jewellery once worn by Diana, with the Duke having had her engagement ring crafted from two diamonds once belonging to his mum.
Last night the Duchess also wore a custom-made Louis Vuitton gown, which featured a daring thigh-high split and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
It bore an uncanny resemblance to the design worn by Kate Middleton at the Earthshot Gala in Boston last week.
The Sussexes were making their first public appearance since the trailer for their bombshell Netflix docuseries dropped last Thursday.
They were snapped yesterday stepping out of a private jet in NYC before quickly making their way to a car.
They looked relaxed, with Meghan grinning in a pair of large sunglasses, while Harry wore a white shirt with the collar unbuttoned.
The Ripple of Hope awards honour individuals for their charitable efforts, and is was hosted by Kerry Kennedy - niece of John F. Kennedy.
The royal pair received an award for their campaigning against "structural racism" and mental health issues.
Crowds of people gathered in the rain to watch them arrive at the glitzy event at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel.
During the ceremony they were seated alongside Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin.
Later, Meghan and Harry gave an interview on the stage where they spoke about their life since moving to the US and their own experiences with mental health.
Their new six-part series Harry & Meghan - made as part of their multi-million pound deal with the streaming service is due out later this month.
The Royal Family are said to be worried it will contain more damaging allegations, in light of the Sussexes' previous TV projects, including their Oprah Winfrey interview last year.
Speaking to the talk show legend, Meghan claimed a member of the Firm had made racist comments about her then unborn son Archie.
The project will reportedly be "utterly explosive", some experts claim.
One source in contact with a Netflix production insider said: “I genuinely think it’s going to be worse than the royals can imagine.
“I’m told that it’s going to be utterly explosive and will be very damaging.”
