Meghan Markle needs to 'hustle like the Kardashians' to stay relevant, says expert

Meghan Markle "needs to hustle like the Kardashians " in order to stay relevant after "exhausting all the royal drama", according to a PR expert.

The Duchess of Sussex is at risk of "fading into obscurity" and will have to work hard to keep up her fame.

A celebrity publicity expert told The Mirror: "Until she divorces Harry, she's exhausted all the royal drama there is to exploit.

"It's unclear if people would watch a second season of her docu-series or buy a sequel to Harry's book.

"Many celebs sell millions of copies of their first dramatic memoir, but the second often fails because they have no secrets left to sell."

Offering advice to the former Suits star, PR expert and The Moment Lab founder Matt Yanofsky said: "To stay relevant, Meghan now needs to hustle like the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, and other women famous for being themselves.

"Like everyone famous for being themselves, she should show up to nearly every event she's invited to attend where there will be cameras.

"If she acts too cocky to show up at unpaid events, she'll fade into obscurity."

Meghan gained prominence starring as Rachel Zane on Suits and she has now reportedly hired Hollywood dealmaker Adam Lilling.

The respected entrepreneur has worked with the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Nicole Kidman and could help Meghan return to her acting career.

"Meghan Markle likes to be paid top-dollar for her work today. It's unclear if she will be paid A-list money for acting, given she's never been an A-list actress," Matt said.

He added: "Sure, people watch her docu-series and interviews, but that's about her personal life.

"Given the economic problems in Hollywood, it's uncertain someone would want to take the gamble on investing millions in Meghan's return to acting.

"Her acting career revolved around C-list cable dramas. We're not talking about Viola Davis or Jennifer Lawrence over here!"

Meghan's popularity was at its peak during her time on Suits, with one of her former co-stars saying she would often have "loads of fans" waiting to meet her after filming.

Dancing On Ice star Colin Grafton appeared on Suits throughout series six and said Meghan had a huge following.

He told The Mirror: "I think she had just started dating Harry at the time, but she had a lot of fans already like outside that were waiting for her."
