Meghan Markle is reportedly mortified from the fallout of Prince Harry's book, especially after Sasha Walpole came forward to discuss her romp with the royal.
In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry detailed an encounter he had with an unnamed older woman who took his virginity. He claimed the sex took place in a field behind a “very busy pub” and that the woman treated him like a “young stallion”.
Since the release of Spare, the mystery older woman has come forward and delivered a tell-all interview about her "passionate" night with the Prince - and Meghan isn't happy, according to one royal correspondent. Kinsey Schofield stated that Sasha coming forward and telling her story as the woman who took his virginity was not part of the Sussex's plan.
Sasha, who previously worked as a groom at the then Prince Charles' residence, Highgrove House, told The Sun: "I am the woman who took Harry’s virginity. It was literally wham-bam between two friends.
"The sex was passionate and sparky because we shouldn’t have been doing it."
She added: “No one warned me about the night being included in the book - and Harry, or his people, could have found me to tell me if they had wanted to do so. I lead a peaceful life — I didn’t invite this.”
The royal correspondent said of the turn of events: "I'm sure both Meghan and Harry are completely mortified about this. I don't think Harry thought Sasha would ever come forward.
"She was mentioned so briefly in his book, but she's come out and exposed it like it's a full affair. It's been made a bigger deal than he intended it to be. Meghan will be extremely embarrassed by the response it's had."
The royal commentator told New Magazine: "This is not the kind of attention she wants. I think she thought this book would elevate them and heighten their celebrity status, but ultimately, it's made them the butt of the joke."
