Well-wishers at Windsor were left delighted yesterday as Princes William and Harry reunited alongside their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, to view floral tributes for the Queen.
Their appearance at Windsor Castle was the first time the 'Fab Four' have made a joint public appearance in more than two years. The couples spent around 40 minutes on their walkabout, talking to members of the public, accepting gifts and swapping huge before leaving together in the same car, with a royal source saying that the Prince of Wales had invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Thousands gathered to meet the royals, with the crowd regularly chanting the princes' names and trying to get them to come over and speak to them. Several clips of the royals went viral, including a short clip of Meghan speaking to an aide as she held a bouquet of flowers, reports WalesOnline.

It seems that she was making a polite comment to the aide, who had offered to take the flowers. In a post that has been retweeted hundreds of times, it seems that Meghan was explaining she promised a member of the public she'd place the flowers at the gate.
Posting the exchange on Twitter, @royal_suitor interpreted the conversation, pointing out that Meghan said: "I told them I'd place them over there so it's OK. Thank you. I appreciate it though."
The couples' sombre moods appeared to lift slightly when speaking to an excited crowd, with them splitting into their pairs to speak to the public on the other side of the barriers. William and Harry showed support for their wives at points, with both princes placing their hands on their backs while speaking to the crowd and reading tributes.
Meghan was also seen being given a hug by a teenager in the crowd. The pair spoke briefly and Meghan could be seen reassuring her by putting her hand on her shoulder.
The girl said: "Can I have a hug?" and Meghan was seen nodding before leaning in for the hug. The crowd chanted "Hip, hip, hooray" as the group left after 40 minutes.
Angela Fleming, who met the Duke of Sussex, said that the hour-and-a-half wait outside was worth it, describing their appearance as unexpected while well-wisher Baljinder Ranow, said the visit was fabulous, adding: "It was so beautiful to see.
"I felt so emotional and I felt the Queen would have loved it. I just hope in the future they remain like that and that the brothers come together, and the families."
On Saturday, the date for the Queen's funeral was also confirmed.
A statement issued on Saturday afternoon said: "The state funeral of Her Majesty the Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September. Prior to the state funeral, the Queen will lie in state in Westminster Hall for four days, to allow the public to pay their respects."
