Meghan Markle makes glamorous appearance in revealing red dress at the LA Children's Hospital gala

The Duchess of Sussex turned heads on Saturday night in a revealing red Carolina Herrera gown at the LA Children's Hospital gala.

At the star-studded event, Meghan greeted young fans and mingled with celebrities including Demi Lovato and Kaley Cuoco. The gala, held before a live audience of over 100 special guests, also featured Jamie Lee Curtis and Colin Hanks as presenters.

Sweet footage captures the Duchess greeting a family at last night's event, joking with a little boy about his late bedtime.

“It's past your bedtime for sure,” Meghan said to the child, who was in his mother's arms.

She added: “How old are they? Oh so really close to our kids. Three and five.”

Meghan previously wore the stunning dress to a 2021 veterans' gala in New York City.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has been on a solo 'quasi-royal tour' across three countries, attending ten engagements in the past 15 days without his wife. Reports suggest Meghan missed a recent charity event with Harry due to illness.

Notably, while Harry was joking with Jimmy Fallon in New York, the couple's wedding guest George Clooney hosted a humanitarian awards ceremony in the same city – with the Duke conspicuously absent.

It comes after the Duke of Sussex called on global leaders to “create a platform for young voices” on a solo trip to Johannesburg earlier this week.

Harry made the journey to South Africa to represent Sentebale, a youth HIV charity he co-founded, following a trip to the tiny mountain kingdom of Lesotho.

In Johannesburg, Harry took part in a reception and panel discussion with stakeholders, business leaders and strategic partners focused on empowering young people and “closing the digital divide”.

Speaking on the importance of including youth voices in conversations, he told the crowd: “I’ve made it one of my life’s missions to create a platform for young voices, and we have seen time and time again that young voices when they are listened to, have the solutions.”
