Samantha Markle has come out swinging against her half-sister Meghan Markle, accusing the Duchess of orchestrating “bullshit” claims regarding their father, Thomas Markle.
Samantha unleashed on social media in response to reports that Meghan had reached out to her estranged dad following the emergency amputation of his leg earlier this week.
At the time, various outlets reported that Meghan had reconciled with Thomas after he was admitted to hospital with blood clots, but Samantha called hogwash on all the stories in a series of now-restricted posts shared on X.
“You’re also gullible,” Samantha wrote under a headline mentioning the family reconciliation, according to Page Six.
“Believe it if he’s put on a private jet and put into one of the best hospitals in the United States for care. Until then don’t hold your breath. It’s likely a PR stunt because of public scrutiny,” she added.
Samantha doubled-down on the sentiment in a separate post, reiterating her claims there’s been “no contact” between Meghan and Thomas since his hospitalisation. “Time to stop the PR b******* Medusa,” she wrote.
“Having paparazzi lurking and bushes doesn’t constitute reaching out LOL,” Samantha quipped in a third post.
Samantha’s social media spray coincided with Thomas’ plea for Meghan to visit him following the amputation, which was performed on his left leg below the knee.
“I don’t want to die estranged,” Thomas told the Daily Mail, adding that he was “confused” by reports Meghan had reached out to him.
According to the outlet, Thomas said he hoped to see his daughter — as well as Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet — “one more time… before it’s too late”.
Thomas was rushed to a hospital in the Philippines to treat an infection and blot clot in his leg that cut off circulation to his foot, per the Daily Mail.
Meghan has yet to respond to her family members’ claims.
It’s reported that the father-daughter pair grew estranged in the lead-up to Meghan’s wedding back in 2018, when Thomas reportedly colluded with the paparazzi for photos of the family preparing for the ceremony.
It’s not known whether the pair have resumed their relationship in the years since, but the BBC reports that Thomas has not met Harry or the children.
Samantha, who was reportedly snubbed from the wedding, has weighed in on the family drama before.
