Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could end up "like Edward and Mrs Simpson" if the couple continues to exile from the Royal Family, a leading expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex opted to remain at their home in California, US, with their two children Archie and Lilibet whilst Harry attends the King's coronation on May 6.

However, PR guru Mark Borkowski claimed Meghan decided to stay at home after The Duke of Sussex's "Spare" memoir damaged the pair's brand.
