Meghan Markle 's management have revealed that she's continuing to "develop content" for fans and is working with "another platform", following the news that her and Prince Harry have parted ways with Spotify.
The pair signed a lucrative deal with the audio streaming platform back in 2020, which was expected to see them host and produce podcasts on the platform.
It has however been announced this week that the couple's audio production company Archewell Audio has now "mutually agreed" to part ways with Spotify moving forward.
A joint statement issued earlier by the two companies read: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."
The talent agent who manage Meghan, 41, however have revealed that she is working on content for another platform, following the launch of her Archewell podcast last year.
WME - whom signed the former actor in around April - addressed their client's departure from Spotify in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.
The statement issued by the talent agency read: "The team behind Archetypes remain proud of the podcast they created at Spotify. Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform."
Meghan's 12-episode Archetypes podcast was exclusive to Spotify. Its first episode was released on the platform in August last year.
It received a number of awards, including Best Entertainment Podcast Host at The Gracies and top podcast gong at People's Choice Awards.
The podcast aimed to "investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back," and it saw Meghan interview a host of guests, including some fellow celebrities.
Guests included tennis player Serena Williams, singer Mariah Carey, actor Mindy Kaling and Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell.
Meghan had teased, prior to the podcast's release, that she was "excited" to be herself on the show, with the host having added: "People should expect the real me in this".
She continued at the time: "Probably the me that they've never gotten to know. Certainly not in the past few years where everything is through the lens of the media."
Another teaser promised that it would "dissect, explore, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back," before hinting at the types of conversations that would feature.
Meghan said: "I'll have conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape our narratives. And I'll talk to historians to understand how we even got here."
When Meghan and Harry first confirmed their Spotify deal they released a 'Holiday Special" episode, on which they chatted to celebrity mates. Their son Archie also made an adorable cameo, wishing listeners a happy Christmas.
