A 'low-key' party at home has been planned for Prince Archie, it's been revealed, as he celebrates his fourth birthday on the same day as King Charles's Coronation.
While Prince Harry attends his father's Coronation in London, Meghan will hold a small bash at their home in Montecito in Santa Barbara, California, a source has said.
"They'll have friends around them and Meghan's mom, Doria [Ragland]. Meghan will definitely have support that weekend," the source told People magazine.
Naturally, little sister Lilibet will also be part of the celebrations.
"They are so sweet together. Archie loves Lili. He's such a sweet boy. When she's not around, he asks, 'Where's Lili?' " the source adds.
Archie's birthday falls on May 6, the same day as his grandfather King Charles's coronation.
For Archie's first birthday the couple released a photo of the youngster sitting on his mum's lap and smiling as the pair looked at a book as well as a candid shot of the family celebrating together.
For his second in 2021, Meghan and Harry shared a picture of their son holding a bunch of birthday balloons alongside a request for fans to donate to COVID vaccine equity for vulnerable families around the world.
On his birthday last year the Royal Family Twitter account posted a picture of Archie as a newborn with his parents and grandmother Doria meeting the Queen and Prince Philip.
It was accompanied by the message: "Wishing Archie Mountbatten-Windsor a very happy 3rd Birthday!"
It was announced earlier this month that Meghan would remain in the US during the Coronation weekend, while Harry flies out to watch the ceremony.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet last visited the UK for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June last year. It was little Lilibet's first ever trip to her father's homeland.
A source told People at the time it was a "fantastic visit", where Lilibet, who was born on June 4, 2021, met Charles and the Queen for the first time.
They said it was "very emotional" and a 'wonderful thing" for Charles to see his granddaughter.
