A friend of the Duchess of Sussex has said the welcome she received on her return to the UK was "loving" and "beautiful to witness".
Kelly McKee Zajfen shared Instagram photos of Meghan, the Duke of Sussex, and her baby son Jack enjoying walks and pub lunches while visiting their new home.
Calling Meghan her "bestie", Ms McKee Zajfen posted photos of the duchess holding six-month-old Jack in a pub and Harry playing on the floor with him, saying she "loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes".
Ms McKee Zajfen, who appeared in the duchess’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan, wrote: "To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!"
Princess Lilibet was pictured from behind in the photos, watching baby Jack as he lay on a sofa beside his mother.
Ms McKee Zajfen also said: "There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure.
"I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Especially getting to experience so many little firsts with Jack by my side.
"Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart.
"(GB) you’ve been so good to us. We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here."
During a trip to Australia earlier this year, Meghan wore an All Mama, All Heart T-shirt bearing a red heart and the word "Mama". Sales support Alliance of Moms, an organisation co-founded by Ms McKee Zajfen assisting young parents in LA foster care.
The Sussexes arrived back in the UK just over a month ago, marking a dramatic shift six years after leaving the working monarchy for the US.
The move has been complicated, with Harry and Meghan pulling Prince Archie and Lili from their school after two days when traffic prevented their security team maintaining a convoy on the school run.
The children are said to have moved to another school.
Friction also grew between Team Sussex and the Royal Household after a letter, authorised by the King, was sent to government stakeholders reiterating the couple were "private citizens" and offering guidance on their treatment.
Harry and Meghan were reportedly surprised by the letter. The couple, awaiting a decision on taxpayer-funded security, reportedly prefer the term "public figures".
