The Duchess of Sussex has signed with a major Hollywood talent agency that boasts her friend, the tennis star Serena Williams, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as clients.
According to Variety, Meghan, 41, has signed to William Morris Endeavor (WME). The company – who also works with model Miranda Kerr and actors Dove Cameron and Brett Goldstein – will represent Archewell, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s content creation label.
The outlet reports that WME will work with Meghan on film and television production – rather than relaunching her acting career.
Meghan starred as Rachel Zane in Suits before marrying into the royal family.
In her Variety cover shoot in 2022, Meghan said she was not planning a return to acting.
“I’m done,” she said. “I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.”
The news of Markle’s signing with WME come days after she was spotted with Prince Harry enjoying a night at the basketball watching the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were caught on camera at the Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on Monday evening.
Meghan giggled when she noticed they were being filmed – and grabbed Harry’s arm playfully as the royal leaned in for a kiss.
It has been confirmed that Meghan will not attend the coronation of King Charles on May 6. Prince Harry will fly in for the occasion.
The couple’s eldest child, Archie, turns four on the same day.
