Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's father Thomas Markle is "stable" in intensive care.

The 81-year-old retired TV lighting director - who has been estranged from Meghan since she married Prince Harry in 2018 - was hospitalised earlier this week and his son Thomas Jr has revealed that he is "heavily medicated on painkillers and other drugs" following the "life-threatening emergency".
