Meghan and Harry's 'Private Citizen' Rebrand Trips Over a Duplicated Paragraph on Their Own Website

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Nottingham charities on 15 October 2026 in their first joint UK public appearance since returning to Britain in August, but a duplicated paragraph on their own website tripped up a comeback that has renewed attention on Harry's fight for taxpayer-funded police protection.

The slip looks small against the bigger stake. Harry is still pressing the UK government for publicly funded police protection, a fight over taxpayer money and a live legal question about what security ex-royals are owed when they visit home.
