Meghan and Harry release statement after Jeremy Clarkson's latest public apology

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released a statement following Jeremy Clarkson's latest apology.

Clarkson, 72, previously stated he "hated" the former Suits actress "on a cellular level" and wanted to see her "paraded naked through the streets". The former Top Gear host announced on Instagram today that he was "really sorry" for what he said in the controversial column - all the way "from the balls of my feet to the follicles of my head".

And, reported by the Mirror, he claimed he reached out to the couple of Christmas Day, days after his now-deleted column was published in print and online. The couple have responded to his latest public apology with a statement of their own have have denied he reached out to Meghan - claiming he contacted Harry alone.
