Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might have "given away too much, too soon" amid claims that the Duchess is planning to rebuild her media empire after a series of setbacks in recent weeks.
The Sussexes' have pursued a number of opportunities in the spotlight since leaving the Royal Family including the release of their own bombshell Netflix docuseries last year.
The 'Harry & Meghan' series which launched in December 2022, is just one of Sussexes' controversial yet highly successful projects over the last year, followed by the Duke's tell-all memoir Spare which came out in January.
It has now been suggested that the couple may have given away "too much, too soon" and that they might want to reconsider their brand going forward with their careers.
Closer Magazine reports that some people believe the Sussexes will need to "rethink" their personal brand as their biggest and most relevant projects only relate to them bashing the Royal Family, the Mirror reports.
The outlet added that the couple may risk losing more supporters as the popularity of Prince William and Kate Middleton continues to rise.
It's also been mentioned the negative reaction the Sussexes have attracted in recent months with a source commenting on Meghan's approach to the situation.
Sir Trevor Phillips suggested on Piers Morgan Uncensored last week that they "squandered" their opportunity to promote diversity while in the Royal Family.
The couple were also slammed by top Hollywood agent and the CEO of United Talent Agency, Jeremy Zimmer who branded Meghan as "talentless" following their Spotify axe.
At the Cannes Lion festival last month, he said: "Turns out [Meghan] was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent. And, you know, just because you're famous doesn't make you great at something".
Closer reports that Meghan was left "distraught" and shocked by some recent commentary but is now determined to "fight her way back to the top".
A source claims that the "latest slew of attacks" on the couple come in the wake of Meghan and Prince Harry being deemed not relevant nor hard working.
They added that it's been "humiliating" for the Sussexes to deal with the criticism in the spotlight Meghan allegedly believes they owe it to themselves to "fight back and make a success of things".
The source claims that the Duchess has told her team that her plan to rebuild her media empire "simply can't fail," regardless of the cost or however "challenging" it may be.
One option that's believed to have been offered to the couple is that they sit back for around a year and invest their money to ensure financial security, the source claims.
However they added that this isn't something Meghan is willing to do as they explained: "She feels the best revenge is to come out on top and prove the haters wrong in a spectacular style."
Closer added that the Sussexes have attracted further negative attention after handing back their keys to Frogmore Cottage last week, having been reportedly evicted from their old UK residence just days after Harry released Spare.
The source concluded that Meghan admits that their new life in the showbiz world sometimes "feels like a war zone" at times but that she is "excited" for the future.
