Megan Fox and her beau Machine Gun Kelly are facing a mammoth backlash over their festish inspired Halloween costumes.
The pair have been dubbed 'abhorrent and offensive' as furious fans accused them of 'mocking the Catholic church' for their controversial party outfits.
Transformers actress Megan, 36, shared a slew of snaps to Instagram showing her clad in bondage gear while her rapper boyfriend, 32, 'feeds her communion.'
Megan was seen on her knees wearing fishnet stockings and latex underwear in the shoot while Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, was dressed as a priest.
"On Sundays we take communion," said Megan in the caption followed by a prayer emoji and a rosary beads.
The stunt did not go down well with fans who inundated the comment section with their rage.
"What happened to cultural appropriation? Why is it okay to mock the Catholic faith. It’s absolutely abhorrent and offensive and I’m so sick of the double standard!" fumed one.
"What the hell is wrong with you people!?" another demanded to know.
Another chimed in: "I’m not catholic but this is so WRONG AND IN SO MANY WAYS making fun of religion . Respect required respect so you guys lost mine."
It was the latest attention-grabbing stunt from the engaged pair, who also dressed up as 90s cultural icons Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee to attend a star-studded bash in LA over the weekend.
Machine Gun Kelly was seen snorting fake cocaine over Megan's breasts in one video the pair posted to Instagram, which again fans branded 'not cool.'
It's not the first time the pair have raised eyebrows with their antics.
Megan stunned fans in April this year when she admitted she had a blood drinking ritual with her fiancé.
“It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only," the actress told Glamour UK.
“And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it,'" , Megan explained. "He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, 'Take my soul.'"
The pair, who have four children between them from previous relationships, announced their engagement in January this year.
Sharing snaps of the moment her musician beau got down on one knee, Megan wrote: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree.
"We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."
"Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him," she continued. "And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other's blood."
