Edinburgh locals will get the chance to see a mega 90,000-tonne cruise ship, equipped with a waterpark, theatre stage and rock climbing wall, up close on Monday.
According to Forth Ports, Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas cruise liner is set to tender in South Queensferry on May 22 following its journey across the North Sea.
The incredible spectacle, built in 2004 with the capacity to carry over 2,500 passengers, is to arrive in the capital for a rare stop and locals who wish to take a closer look will get the chance to do so.

Tweeting ahead of its arrival, Forth Ports tweeted: "Welcome to the @RoyalCaribbean Jewel of the Seas tendering beside the Forth Bridge at South Queensferry tomorrow. For all other visitors, the Hawes car park will be fully open to the public from 10.30am. Hope to see you then too!"
The vessel has a whopping 12 passenger decks, with the fifth home to a mini shopping and dining hub with shops and restaurants galore. Jewel of the Seas also includes a casino, cinema and a revolving bar.
While children can be left making a splash in the huge waterpark with several pools and slides, parents can relax in the onboard spa with ocean views and a buffet. The top two decks offer a mix of fitness and sports facilities as well as kids areas and nightlife venues.
According to one critic, the 'icing on the cake' comes in the form of the glass elevators, offering great outdoor and indoor views.
If you are wondering just how big the ship is, the answer is 965 feet, which is the equivalent of three football pitches. It is unclear how long the Jewel of the Seas will be present in the Firth of Forth, but it is slowly making its way across the North Sea from Inverness according to Vessel Finder.
