HBO's Lanterns finished its first season with the introduction of John Stewart and the new Manhunter to a mainstream live-action TV audience and conquered incredible success in viewership (19 million weekly,) but a potential second season will face an immediate question: Which Green Lantern should stand beside him next?

The strongest answer may already exist in DC Comics. Jessica Cruz and Kyle Rayner, DC's two most prominent Latino Green Lanterns, could both expand the mythology while allowing the series to keep exploring the familiar trio of Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Guy Gardner.
