Ask anyone who loves to get their nails done just how satisfying it is to look down at a fresh set — even more so when they pair perfectly with most of your wardrobe. Aside from being a way to accessorise, nail polish is also another avenue for creative expression. That’s where the new Aussie brand, Offbeat, comes in.
Founded by two best friends, Emilio and Shaman, Offbeat is an LGBTQIA+ founded nail polish brand that “celebrates everyone’s differences and does all it can to lend a hand.” They’re all about inclusivity, accurate representation, and of course, damn good nail polish.
Each polish is a vegan, cruelty-free formula made from plant-based ingredients. It’s also 10-free, so it’s formulated without the most common and controversial chemicals in most polishes. How good! The polishes are also water-permeable, which is great for nail health.
Since Offbeat believes nail polish is for everyone, it’s launched with three inclusive colours—jet black, forest green, and sky blue—with more hopefully launching soon. Plus, you have two topcoat choices: clear and matte to finish your nail look.
Each polish costs around $22, or you can bundle a colour and a coat for just $39 (usually $44). Let’s take a look at the launch collection, shall we?

We also love that a lot of the branding and creative on Offbeat’s website features LGBTQIA+, disabled, or offbeat models, hoping to give them a voice and a platform to book more work. We love to see it.
