As the old saying goes, behind every great man this is a great woman and Newcastle United's new signings definitely have the support of their other halves, many of whom have now had their first taste of that electric St James' Park atmosphere.
After the historic takeover of the club in October, hopes were high that some serious money would be splashed during the January transfer window and fans' hopes were delivered on when five new players signed on the dotted line to join the Magpies.
England winger Kieran Trippier and Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães were the two biggest names to join NUFC before Deadline Day and they were joined by highly rated Burnley striker Chris Wood, defender Dan Burn signed from Brighton and Matty Targett who joined the club on loan from Aston Villa.

Four of those featured in Newcastle's 3-1 win over Everton on Tuesday night and three of their other halves were in the stands at St James' Park to see them and their teammates delight fans with a rousing performance.
Charlotte Trippier
The 30-year-old is the wife of Kieran, who made the switch from Atletico Madrid to NUFC.
While Kieran jetted in from Spain to Tyneside to seal the deal, Charlotte and the couple's two children stayed in Madrid for another month, before finally moving over to Newcastle in early February.
Charlotte quickly ingratiated herself to Geordies by delighting at having her first Greggs in Newcastle.
She and the Trippier kids all donned personalised NUFC shirts as they took their seats at St James' for the Everton game.
They started their night in an executive box, before after celebrating the Magpies' second goal with a chip butty, Charlotte had her phone at the ready to see husband Kieran score a screamer of a free kick to seal victory.
Charlotte is prolific on Instagram, where she runs the Style Up Sisters account with London-based sister Rosie.
She can be seen posing in an array of designer outfits on the page and was also one of 'the England WAG set' for the Euros, joining the likes of Jordan Pickford's wife Megan Davison, Harry Kane's wife Kate and Harry Maguire's other half Fern Hawkins.
Ana Lidia Martins
When Bruno Guimarães flew into Newcastle for the first time on a private jet, he was joined by glamorous girlfriend Ana.
The pair have been an item since 2020 and Ana, 24, is a huge football fan and was in the crowd to see Bruno make a key assist for Brazil in their 4-0 victory over Paraguay, after he'd signed for NUFC.
And she also had a ball on her first visit to St James', being blown away by the famous Geordie atmosphere under the lights as Wor Flags unfurled a huge banner in Bruno's honour.
Nutritionist Ana has also had her first meal out in Newcastle at Rio Steakhouse in Jesmond.
Jasmin Buckle
Another one of Newcastle United's new WAGS on the block to meet at the Everton match was Matty Targett's fiancee Jasmin.
The 25-year-old, like Ana, is a constant cheerleader for Matt, being in the stands at Villa Park on Boxing Day before her other half sealed his loan deal to the Toon.
Posting a picture of Matt in the famous black and white stripes for the first time, Jasmin wrote: "New year, new city," alongside black and white hearts.
As well as sharing her first night at St James' on her Instagram story, she also uploaded a video of her walking along the Quayside the morning after, with the Baltic and Millennium Bridge in clear view.
Jasmin also sent her growing number of Instagram followers green with envy with very chic pictures of her recent trip to Paris with Matty.
Thays Gondim
While her other half Joelinton isn't a new signing, Thays is sure to be in the company of the other WAGs, after she followed him to Newcastle.
Thays, 23, is the mother of the couple's two children and has also been a regular at St James' Park in recent months.
As well as posting a host of cute pictures of her, Joelinton and their children, Thays, also from Brazil, has also uploaded photos of some very exotic holidays with her football other half.
Little is known about Chris Wood's other half, although back in 2018 he was in a relationship with women's footballer Kirsty Linnett.
Like the defender himself, Dan Burn's wife is from Tyneside, something he gave away in his exit interview for Brighton, when he said they 'couldn't pass up the chance to go home.'
