Meet Andrew Lun, the young American piano prodigy who won first prize in the 2025 Clara Schumann International Piano Competition's Piano Prodigy category

At an age when many children are still discovering their musical interests, Andrew Lun was already appearing on some of the world's best-known stages. The young pianist from New York City began learning the piano at five. By the time he was six and seven, he had already been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. His growing list of achievements includes competition prizes, international performances and, in 2025, acceptance into the prestigious Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, as per a report by American Protégé and the International Clara Schuman Competition.
