Alexander Wong is part of a new generation of young classical pianists making an impression well beyond their home country. From Mozart to Debussy, his competition repertoire has already shown an ability to move between very different musical styles.
The young American pianist recently gained international recognition after winning First Prize in the Piano Prodigy Kids category at the Online International Clara Schumann Competition. The result added another significant achievement to a record that already includes success at the WPTA Finland International Piano Competition and the Piano Teachers Society of America Competition.
