Medieval-style self-built commuter 'castle' in Crawley to go to auction for £1 million

An eight-bedroom ‘castle’ in the commuter belt is heading to auction with a guide price of £1 million — just less than the price of an average home sold in Kensington & Chelsea last year.

Known as Beaubush Castle, but still officially registered as Beaubush Cottage, the crenellated building near Crawley in West Sussex has many castle-style features.
