Medicare beneficiaries could see expanded fraud alerts, improved smartphone tools, and new technology-based outreach under additional federal funding announced for the Senior Medicare Patrol Resource Center.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Community Living (ACL) announced its intent to provide a $226,000 supplemental award to the organization operating the national Senior Medicare Patrol Resource Center. According to a notice published in the Federal Register on September 10, the additional money brings the Resource Center’s total fiscal year 2026 award to $1.226 million.
