Liverpool-based DAM Health was founded to specialise in Covid-19 testing services and moved into offering wider medical diagnostic services. It has conducted more than 1m PCR and antigen tests across the UK and today employs more than 1,000 staff, with 12 operational laboratories and more than 100 clinics worldwide.
Liam Spence, director of people and marketing for DAM Health, said: "The expansion into Australia and New Zealand is a significant move for us.
"We have established the DAM Health brand in the UK, Spain and Mexico and are excited to do the same in Australasia. We will utilise the strength of our base in the United Kingdom, with more than 60 clinics, as well as the range of online services DAM offers.
"The move gives DAM Health a foothold in another major continent, allowing us to continue improving the quality of life for patients and customers and provide life-saving medical supplies to those in need.
"The opening of diagnostic hubs in major cities in Australia and New Zealand will also allow us to detect viruses and disease as early as possible while offering proactive, round-the-clock medical care."
