An expert has explained the differences between paracetamol and ibuprofen.
The colder months have sparked the spread of cold and flu. Many people will be searching for over the counter medication to provide some relief as they recover from their illness.
A pharmacist has taken to TikTok to provide some advice the correct tablets people should use to correctly pain relief. @HealthwithNyrah has built up a large following on TikTok with her handy medical advice.

She shared a short clip on the content creation platform to explain that paracetamol should be used for "mild or moderate pain". She added: "It may be better than ibuprofen for fever and stomach aches."
The content creator explained people suffering with liver disease should avoid paracetamol. She also shared a list of conditions when it is best to take Ibuprofen.
Nyrah said: "Ibuprofen is good for migraines, period pain, toothaches and muscle sprains (muscoskeletal system). If you have kidney disease, stomach ulcers or asthma it's best to avoid ibuprofen."
