Medhi Edno has sparked a theory from Love Island viewers over who he really likes in the villa, as they tore into him for his treatment of Whitney Adebayo on Thursday's show.
Firm fan favourites, even though many viewers think they are in a 'friendship' couple, Medhi and Whitney have managed to avoid the majority of drama that has gone down in the villa so far this year; but that all changed on Thursday, when Jess Harding was left upset by comments made by Whitney and Catherine Agbaje. The pair suggested that Jess really wanted to pick Molly Marsh in a game earlier in the day, when she asked to kiss the Islander she thought was most two faced.
Jess was upset at the assumptions made about her, declaring she didn't want to look like 'a nasty girl,' and then stormed off in tears. Realising what had gone, Medhi pulled Whitney for a chat, telling her: "You better not have made Jess cry," as she tried to explain what had happened.

The next day, Medhi, being very matter of fact told Whitney: "I don't want my girl to be in any unnecessary drama. If this is what you are, I don't want it." As they got up to walked away, he added: "Next time you make someone cry, I'll come to you directly." Sensing some tension, Jess then took Medhi to one side, telling him: "What it looked like, made it look more than it actually was. It wasn't like she was being mean."
Noticing Mefhi's very different tact when talking to Jess compared to Whitney, Love Island viewers suggested that Medhi would rather be coupled up with Jess, with one tweeting: "medhi must have a crush on Jess or some s**t because wtf was that uno reverse card of a personality," with another responding: "Does Medhi low key wanna couple with Jess."
Others are desperate for new boys to come into Whitney, with one fan commenting: "Medhi wasn’t even trying to understand until Jess spoke up….He rushed to judgement so fast abut Whitney. He never really liked her & he’s not worthy of her. Producers please send in better bombshells for her & Catherine asap!"
