NEW DELHI: "Pehle financial issues the, lekin abhi nahi hai (I had financial issues before, but not now)," said Sandeep Singh with his two glittering eyes and satisfaction on his face as he stands tall, with the only dream of donning that coveted Olympics medal in Paris, the city of love.
At 28, Sandeep, a Naib Subedar in the Indian Army, discovered his passion for shooting while training with rifles. His service in the Indian Army has taken him to demanding environments like the Siachen glacier, where he has honed his skills and mental fortitude.
