Mecha BREAK is a fast-paced mech multiplayer game that will be getting a limited open access beta next month, giving players on PC a chance to get their hands on it early.

Developer Amazing Seasun Games revealed that the limited open access beta will start on Aug. 1, 2024, and follows a successful campaign at Summer Games Fest and the Xbox Showcase that took place earlier this year.

Mecha BREAK's Limited Open Access Beta

On the other hand, the open beta test will start on Aug. 10, 2024, and will end on Aug. 13, 2024, while hardcore fans, influencers, and previous beta testers will be able to get in early.

They will be able to access the limited access beta that takes place from Aug. 2, 2024, to Aug. 8, 2024, according to MMORPG.

The two tests will focus on Mecha BREAK's 6v6 Battlefield mode which the developer described as a fast-paced three-axis movement hero shooter experience.

The new beta test will also feature a new playable mech, Stego, and various changes to combat, time-to-kill, and a faster pace for all mechs.

The upcoming game is a multiplayer mech-based title that lets players choose from various mech builds, customize their appearances, and fight it out in intense Armored Core-like combat. Some of the game's features include squads of three or fixed finishing objectives and taking down enemies.

Fast-Paced Mech Battles

Amazing Seasun Games said that it implemented significant changes to the game's rhythm of combat.

Players who want to try their luck at getting a spot for the beta can try to get a code by joining the Mecha BREAK Discord channel, pre-registering on the website, or watching gameplay streams on Twitch, said IGN.

The developer also said that the beta period will allow players to get hands-on with Mecha BREAK's fast-paced action as it tests server load and stability.

The servers that will be open will include North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific regions.

The game immediately puts players in the middle of chaotic mech action where they will have to pilot hulking metal robots designed for destruction. Mecha BREAK also features a giant 60-player PvEvP option.

While Mecha BREAK looks fluid, accessible, and simple to play, the developer did not sacrifice the core dynamics and experience that fans love to see in mech shooters.

It still encourages tactical combat despite its relatively fast-paced combat mechanics, according to PCGamesN.
