Meat cleaver-wielding Glasgow man who set dogs on police jailed for 27 months

A man who set two dogs on police which left an officer scarred after he was attacked has been jailed for 27 months.

William Gauley, 27, instructed the Bullmastiffs to pounce in Glasgow’s Easterhouse on October 10, 2021.

Officers were arresting his brother when Gauley appeared with a knife and meat cleaver.
