The event in New Delhi where Bangladesh's former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is due to speak is being organised by a private entity and the Indian government has nothing to do with it, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal said on Tuesday.
Bangladesh had urged India to prevent Hasina from making political speeches from Indian territory, warning that such statements risk destabilizing bilateral relations, its foreign ministry said on Monday.
