In the closing stages of Sunday’s race, Jordan Pepper, driving the McLaren 720S he shares with Brendan Iribe, hunted down and passed the #12 Vasser Sullivan Racing Lexus RC F of Aaron Telitz/Frankie Montecalvo, the Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 of Bryan Sellers/Madison Snow and finally the Turner Motorsports BMW of Bill Auberlen/Robby Foley.
However, in IMSA technical inspection, the Inception McLaren was found to be underweight and was moved to the back of the class.
