Mckenna Grace's Katniss wedding dress moment in Paris was not quite the replica it first appeared to be. The 20-year-old actress arrived at the Musée Rodin on Tuesday, Oct. 6, for the gala opening of "Elegance Is Authority: The Story, Style and Power of Panem" in a white Monique Lhuillier ball gown reworked to echo the bridal look Jennifer Lawrence wore as Katniss Everdeen in 2013's "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
The silhouette did most of the talking. A fitted bodice was covered in silver latticework that climbed over one shoulder into a sculptural, wing-like form, while the skirt fell in dense tiers of ruffled white tulle. Grace wore her blonde hair pinned up with small feather accents, a detail that reads as a nod to the mockingjay imagery attached to both Katniss and her own character.
