McDonald's will be closing between certain hours for the Queen's funeral. The fast-food chain has announced it will shut restaurant doors on Monday, September 19 in honour of Britain's longest-reigning monarch, who passed away aged 96 on Thursday, September 8.
Following the Queen's death, the UK has entered a period of National Mourning. It is expected to last until the day after Her Majesty's state funeral.
Ahead of the funeral, which has been announced as a public bank holiday, many supermarkets and stores have confirmed closures to mourn the loss of the Queen. You can see a list of those here.
