McDonald's to introduce major changes to iconic Big Mac burger recipe by 2024

McDonald's is making some big changes to the iconic Big Mac burger recipe in the US - and it sounds absolutely mouth-watering.

The new recipe will include softer "pillowy" buns that are toasted, "meltier" cheese, white onions - added to the patties on the grill to create a "juicier, caramelized flavour" - as well as extra Big Mac sauce added to the burger.

The fast food giant announced the changes yesterday and said they will be rolled out across America by 2024.
