McDonald's staff were forced to barricade themselves inside the restaurant after a row broke out over a 77p Fillet-O-Fish.
A group of teens had allegedly been asked to leave the Birmingham restaurant after one of them was only charged 77p or two Filet-O-Fish meals and a milkshake, it was claimed.
A fracas then kicked-off after the teenagers attempted to re-enter the premises, after they claimed staff used "physical force".
McDonald's said the group of youngsters damaged the restaurant and were asked to depart during the incident on April 12.
One teen involved told BirminghamLive : "We were pushed out with physical force.
"A manager saw that we had got the food for 77p and he said we were committing fraud.
"They pushed us out and locked the door on us. One staff member also took my friend's phone off him.
"That's when we went around to the back and everything escalated."
Officers from West Midlands Police attended the incident. A force spokesperson said: "We were called to a customer dispute.
"We attended and spoke to everyone. No one reported any injuries or crimes."
McDonald's said the safety of staff and customers is their "absolute priority".
A spokesman said: "On the evening of April 12, our restaurant team acted quickly to stop a group of youths from accessing the store via the rear entrance.
"This after they had been asked to leave the premises for causing disruption and damage to the restaurant.
"We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to crime and anti-social behaviour and will assist police with their investigation.”
Last month The Mirror told how a customer was targeted with a warning sign by a McDonald's worker before a vicious fight broke out.
The worker emerged from behind the restaurant counter and picked up a yellow 'wet floor' cone and started swinging at two female customers.
The two women scream at her “are you coming outside? You dumb b****” before a vicious fight broke out.
The fast-food worker was held down by hair by one attacker, while another woman launches a series of kicks at her legs.
A customer tried to hold back a second woman who is shouting “what the f***” are you doing.”
Horrified customers witnessed the fight at McDonald's in Highbury, north London.
The incident snowballed when other customers got involved and attempted to take the woman away from the McDonald's worker after pulling her hair.
