McDonald's is poised to axe a popular discount which allows NHS workers to bag cheaper meals amid the current cost of living crisis.
The fast food chain has been giving health service workers 20% off for some time now, but the scheme will stop on March 31.
Back in July 2021, the restaurant confirmed that it would be thanking emergency service workers - including the NHS, police, fire, social care sector and armed forces - with a generous 20% discount when ordering through the McDonald's app.
