Video has emerged of boys wearing balaclavas who appeared to storm a McDonald's restaurant and assault a member of staff. The mobile phone footage was captured at a branch of the fast food chain in Liverpool on Sunday, March 12.
The clips from inside the reastaurant at the Stonedale Retail Park appear to show a group of customers struggling to cope with a gang of boys wearing balaclavas. One of the boys then lunges forward and appears to attack a staff member, the Echo reports.
Audible gasps and cries of "no, no, no" are heard in the video. Moments later, a staff member attempts to push the boy away from him.
In a further video clip, a boy with a lollipop in his mouth can be seen wielding a brush as a member of the public strides towards him carrying a wet floor sign. A woman can be heard saying "come on lads behave" before the group leave the restaurant.
