If you've grown up with McDonald's (MCD) -) it's likely you have at least a few nostalgic memories about the good old Golden Arches.
Naturally, the chain has a plan in place for National Cheeseburger Day on Sept. 18, and it's aiming to tap right into that fuzzy place in your heart when chicken nuggets came in the square yellow Styrofoam box and you could buy glass mugs with Garfield on them.

The chain has announced that on Sept. 18, and only on that day, customers can get a Double Cheeseburger for the price of $0.50, which is half what it normally costs. To cash in on the deal, customers will need to download and order via the McDonald's app. No other purchase is necessary to get the deal (but if you're already saving money, you may as well get fries while you're at it).
Take note: the deal is limited to just one per customer.

It will offer different daily deals for the next six days, including BOGO deals on Whoppers, free onion rings, and free Whopper. Jrs.
