The wedding feast has been launched in Jakarta, Indonesia. But there are now hopes the wedding catering could be rolled out worldwide if it proves successful in the Far East, BirminghamLive reports.
Rizki Haryadi, from McDonald's Indonesia, said: "There are other service options as well, where we can also provide food stalls at an additional cost. The wedding package is not for holding a wedding at a McD store , but only for food, such as catering with prices starting from £185 with a minimum purchase of 200 products."
In Hong Kong, couples can actually get married at McDonald's restaurants. "Thinking about throwing a really special party for your wedding, engagement, anniversary or bridal shower? Think McDonald's," the official website reads.
"Our Wedding Party packages have just everything you need, including unique venue decoration, customised games and special gifts for bride & groom and your guests. Everything will be taken care of by McDonald's. All you need to do is to be there and enjoy the moment of your lifetime."
Your £348 gets you the basic package - including venue hire - but if you really want to ramp up your McSpecial Day there are plenty of extras. For just over £1,000 you can upgrade to the deluxe Love Forever Party with two McDonald's balloon wedding rings, a balloon bridal bouquet and a party MC.
Extras include "Loving You" table balloons, McDonald's fries photo frames, seat covers, and a 3-tier wedding "cake" made up of boxes and boxes of McDonald's apple pies.
