Fast food fans can enjoy the bank holiday with a cheap meal - but only if they order on the McDonald’s app. Diners will be able to pick up McMuffins and McNuggets for a snip of the price tomorrow (May 2).
The deals, exclusively available via the McDonald’s App , will see double McMuffins served up for just £1.79 instead of £3.09.
Customers can choose between a Double Bacon and Egg or Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin to kick off the Bank Holiday Monday on a full stomach.

However, if a lie-in is too tempting for your day off, from 11am onwards, McDonald’s is offering customers a second offer of six chicken nuggets for just 99p.
And for those looking for something with a bit more of a kick, the McSpicy burger is back on the menu featuring a fiery chicken breast fillet, lettuce and cool mayo for £4.29, or £5.79 as a meal.
The Grand Big Mac has also made a welcome return, alongside the Grand Big Mac with Bacon and cheesy garlic bites.
For dessert, the new Flake raspberry and Flake chocolate McFlurrys are available from 99p, and will remain on the menu until June 7.
However, the changes mean certain iconic burgers have been dropped from the menu for now - including the Big Tasty. The fast food chain brought back the iconic burger on March 16 for a limited time only, along with two other flavours.
Other items that have been removed from McDonald’s restaurants include the Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger and Chilli Cheese Bites.
