McDonald's is giving away free breakfast to university students across ten UK locations.
From today (October 10) a select number of UK university campuses will be handing out free McMuffins - either egg and cheese, or bacon, egg and cheese to students.
But students will need to be quick, as there are only 2,000 serves of free food up for grabs and the tour will only run until October 21.
The lucky first 100 who attend each van will also be able to get their hands on free McDonald’s merch.

Week 1:
- 10th October – Edinburgh Napier University
- 11th October – University of Northumbria
- 12th October – Sheffield University
- 13th October – University of Leeds
- 14th October – York University
Week 2:
- 17th October – Nottingham Trent University
- 18th October – Birmingham City University
- 19th October – Cardiff Met University
- 20th October – Bristol UWE University
- 21st October – Portsmouth University
A fully bespoke McDonald’s airstream will stop by each participating universities freshers’ fairs.
The fast-food chain is teaming up with LitterLotto to encourage students to keep their new hometowns clean and take part in local litter picks.
Participating universities will be added to a league table for the chance to be crowned the "Cleanest Student City or Town in the UK".
And as part of the competition, one lucky student from the "Cleanest Student City or Town" will win an exclusive DJ set from Chris Stark, on board the McDonald’s food van.
LitterLotto will be running the competition in partnership with McDonald's in a bid to track down the cleanest student city or town.
Students and local residents can enter the competition if they want to see their town crowned the cleanest.
Entrants will need to upload a photo of themselves responsibly disposing of any litter they find in order to earn a point towards the town or city's total points.
The town or city with the most points by the end of the two week tour will be crowned the winner and entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Chris Stark-fronted party, equipped with tasty food served from the McDonald’s food van.
