The summer holidays may be coming but do you want the holiday vibes taking over your McDonald’s? In what the fast food chain is calling "its most exciting summer menu", there is a distinctly Mediterranean feel to the new menu.
Kicking off with a taste of Italy, from Wednesday, June 8 ( a theme that runs until Tuesday, July 26), Maccies fans will then change direction with a menu inspired by the cuisine of Spain and Cyprus from Wednesday, July 27 and running through to Tuesday, September 6.
So, just what can we expect? An Italian Stack is first up for burger lovers. The famous burger joint says that for £5.39, fans can treat themselves to two 100% beef patties, topped with mozzarella, crispy onions, a rich tomato sauce, lettuce and a smooth cheese sauce all served within a freshly toasted tomato and herb style bun.
