McDonald's fans 'devastated' by announcement over Happy Meals for adults in UK

Fans of fast food chain McDonald's say they are "devastated" after the firm made an announcement about Happy Meals for adults in the UK.

Initially, customers were thrilled to hear that McDonald's would be selling adult versions of Happy Meals. However, it turned out the meals were actually only going to be available in the US.

A McDonald's spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News : "We have no plans to roll this out in the UK." The publication shared the news on Facebook, and people were far from thrilled.
