Fast food giant McDonald's has made a devastating announcement about its menu in the UK. Adults are so upset about it, they say they 'can't sleep at night'.
Social media has been set alight today by the news that McDonald's will be selling adult Happy Meals. But beyond the headlines, what you may not have realised is that they're only going to be available in the US. Boo.
Manchester Evening News contacted McDonald's about the news, and asked if there are any plans to bring adult happy meals to the UK. A McDonald's spokesperson told us: "We have no plans to roll this out in the UK."

Manchester Evening News shared the news on Facebook, and it's safe to say people are anything but happy about the news.
Joannah Barnard slammed: "No happiness for the UK!" Justin Humphreys wrote: "I imagine there must be a distinct lack of happy adults in the UK."
Angie Norwood-Pearson said: "Absolutely devastating. [...] I won’t sleep at night knowing I won’t get an adult happy meal ." Damo Pritt said: "That doesn't make me HAPPY at all."
Danny Robinson said: "We're getting the miserable Karen meal." Ian Duerdin laughed: "Don’t tell Jamie Oliver."
Francesca Marston suggested: "They should offer a smaller meal option for adults like a happy meal size though, not everybody can eat a full meal - elderly people or ones without a big appetite probably feel full up on a happy meal."
Diane Bracegirdle said: "I'd still buy the kids one for myself I've been having them for donkeys years." Cathie Leather commented "Happy meals aren't just for kids, it says "happy meal"."
Others couldn't help but make the same joke. Dave Felix said: "What’s so special?? Does it come with an “Adult Toy”?!? Hahaha."
Barry Bridges laughed: "I wonder what the toy will be." Ash Houghton wrote: "Uk wouldn’t allow the toy selection."
Neil Looker said: "Because it will probably have adult toys in it and everyone is prude over here."
