McDonald's has extended a 20% discount scheme eligible for NHS and emergency service workers.
The scheme was meant to end on March 31 but has now been extended indefinitely past this date.
McDonald's says it has "no plans" to end the discount which it originally launched as a "thank you" to emergency service workers.
The discount was introduced back in July 2021 and provides a discount to workers in the NHS, police, fire, social care sector and armed forces.
Workers could claim the 20% discount when they bought food through the McDonald's app.
It comes after blog NHS Discount Offers warned that the scheme was set to finish in just a few weeks.
The blog said that the offer was the "most popular" food discounts for NHS staff over the past year.
McDonald's was originally going to stop the discount at the end of December 2021, however, extended the deal throughout the entirety of last year.
To get the discount, staff members will need to sign up to the McDonald's app with their NHS work email address, if you do this the offer will automatically be applied.
If you've already signed up with your personal email address, you are able to change this in the settings section of the app.
After signing up, staff members will need to wait 48 hours for the deal to become available via the deals section of the app.
Staff members are only able to access the deal once a week - which refreshes every Monday, you if you claim the discount on a meal this week, you will need to wait until next week to claim again.
When you order using the app, you can either choose to collect your food from your nearest store or opt for a home delivery.
You can find your nearest McDonald's branch using the online store locator.
