Customers of McDonald's have complained after saying they had a much anticipated movie ruined for them - by a Happy Meal toy.
Helping to promote the new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, the fast food retailer issued a new range of toys in their kid's meals. The website updated to show the new play figures.
The homepage only shows seven different toys, including two Sonics, two Tails, two Knuckles, and a Dr Robotnik. However, there’s actually an eighth toy hiding on the website.

The photos of the toys on the website’s banner image are clickable, and once clicked, a brief video pops up showing the toy in action. One of the videos features the eighth hidden toy - a Super Sonic figurine.
The inclusion of the Super Sonic toy suggests that fans are going to see this version of Sonic in the sequel. Many people have claimed that this is a huge spoiler and it has ruined the movie for them.
Taking to Twitter, consumers of McDonald's shared their complaints. Miles said: "McDonalds may have accidentally spoiled something by accident on the happy meal website behind a tails toy."
Another user said: "Got the sonic movie spoiled from the happy meal page of all things" followed by a crying face emoji. Meanwhile, Hayden said: "Just got the Sonic 2 movie spoiled to me by the McDonald's happy meal toy website. No this is not a joke."
Kris said: "There’s something funny about the idea that McDonald's just straight up have a spoiler for their Sonic 2 happy meal so like imagine you want to get any of the figures and you get the surprise figure before watching the movie. Day ruined probably."
Currently the toys are only available in the US. The UK is expected to see new toys arrive to McDonalds on April 13.
